4 May: Pond Postscript

Evelyne took advantage of her husband being gone and bought a little fountain at Obi yesterday. I came up to see it after our walk. It might actually do the trick – her pond is small enough that the fountain sends a slight current across the entire surface. You can see the tadpoles again and she spotted a couple of her fish for the first time in several days.

Today I vacuumed and mopped the whole house and it was already getting dirty again by the end of the day. I think I will be happy to go back to a carpeted home where you can’t see all the doggie footprints.
